Product Description
The design sold by others has the whole back of the collet threaded with two slots cut into the threads for turning a wrench on. It's simple, it's cheap, and it's bad. Use that design once or twice, and you may damage the threads where the wrench makes contact, requiring you to now clean up those threads before you can even get the nut off the collet and use it again. We've worked around this issue by moving the threads up on the collet to allow for a more controlled grip and protection of threads. We've also completely redesigned the installer plate, zeroing in on the correct hole placement by taking apart an engine.
We also have new Koyo B-138, B-148 and B-168 bearings available in our store under the Harley Davidson section!
