Product Description
Set of Inner Cam Bearing Puller and Installation Tools.
Compatible for Harley Davidson Twin Cam and Dyna models.
Compatible for all TC96, 103 and 110s that use the B168 bearings. This set will remove and install the inner cam bearings on newer model Twin Cams and Dyna Harleys.
We also have new Torrington-Koyo B-168 bearings available in our store under the Harley Davidson section!
This set includes 1inch collet. The design of the collet is improved. The design sold by others has the whole back of the collet threaded with two slots cut into the threads for turning a wrench on. It's simple, it's cheap, and it's bad. Use that design once or twice, and you may damage the threads where the wrench makes contact, requiring you to now clean up those threads before you can even get the nut off the collet and use it again. We've worked around this issue by moving the threads up on the collet to allow for a more controlled grip and protection of threads.
The set includes 1inch Inner Cam Bearing Installer.
We've also completely redesigned the installer plate, zeroing in on the correct hole placement by taking apart an engine and putting it on a digital drafting table to get the precise placement of all of the important dimensions.
This set comes with our "T" pin for easier insertion and removal from the collet! But the BIGGEST improvement of this set is in what is NOT there. We have completely reworked how the process of pulling and installing the bearings works - we've made it easier, faster, and better. Instead of using a sleeve, nut, and washer with the collet to pull the bearings, the collet is threaded through the plate, and is inserted into the bearing. Once you hear the "click" of the collet passing the bearing on the inside, simply insert our "T" pin for a secure lock, and begin to pull the bearing! Once the bearing is out, you are ready to insert the new bearing in right away! Instead of using the installer plate with a bolt and a driver, we've made the collet from the puller into the bolt. The driver attaches on top of the collet, and the "T" pin is used to lock it all in place. This can be done immediately after pulling the old bearing, with it still hanging on the collet. Once done with the installation of the new bearing, take out the "T" pin, remove the driver, unscrew the collet from the plate, and switch sides to repeat the process.
This set includes our Patent Pending use design - no one else on the market has a tool quite like this (or at this price!). Instructions are available for this set.
100% Made in the United States.

Inner Cam bearing installer
Do yourself a favour, spend the extra little bit of cash for this tool. Do not buy that cheap Chinese crap off of eBay that does not fit. Ask me how I know!

Works as it should
I will say the product does the job just fine....It works and does what it’s designed to do..If I had a negative it would be the bolts or screws that hold the hold suport plate are kinda cheep and have a coating on them that makes them hard going in flush the first time plus there is factory thread lock still in the thread holes but overall the product works great

Twin cam inner cam bearing removal and installer
Great tool, I use it often. I have one suggestion that will make it a little better. I was using it to install cam bearings on a friend's 2012 103", the cam bearing bore was a little tight and when I began installing the first bearing the end of the remover/installer spread open. I put a hose clamp on it and finished the job. I always grease the threads on the remover/installer bolt and assembly lube in the bores and on the bearings before installing. I think if you made a separate installation bolt with a hole for the colletts to fit into would prevent this from happening and the tool would be stronger and would keep the remover from weakening. Best Regards Nolan Megehee

Quality parts. Used to remove bearings. Worked well. Never used one before. Haven't used to install bearings yet. Don't have the bearings.
I can't get the old bearing to slide over the collet in preparation for installing the new bearings when I have the pushing tool in the end of the collet.
