Worked like a champ!!
Warning to Volvo Penta DPS-B owners... this WILL work, but the bolt holes unfortunately didn't line up on my outdrive. Yes I'm still giving it 5 stars. I had to turn it vertically against the gimbal housing vs horizontal. It still popped a corroded nasty gimbal bearing right out using an 1.5" adjustable wrench. I don't know if I simply ordered the wrong one or not. It does say it's made specifically for Mercruiser, and works on VP. They didn't lie. Lol. Thanks for the product. If you could reply or email me and let me know if there's a different gimbal housing plate, that'd be great. Easiest gimbal bearing pull I've ever done. Loved it!

Could not have got it out without this tool. Rented the 5lb slide from Autozone and beat the heck out of it, wasn’t happening. With this tool and a big wrench, was easy. Plus, i needed asap and was able to get it next day. Saved my Norris Lake trip.

Gimbal Bearing Puller 2004 Volvo Penta SX outdrive
Absolutely the most easiest and effective bearing removal tool. Took my son and I about 7 minutes to remove a moderately rusted gimbal bearing on our Volvo Penta SX outdrive. I highly recommend this tool to anyone who loves to work on their boats. I’ve also purchased the alignment tool and the bearing installer tool from MBS.
