Engine Alignment Bar Tool compatible with MerCruiser Sterndrives including: Pre-Alpha "R", Alpha One "MR", Generation II, all Bravo models. This Tool is similar to MerCruiser P/N 91-805475A1 which used to be P/N 91-57797A3. Compatible with Volvo SX P/N 3851083 and OMC Cobra P/N 18-4442. The length of the bar is approximately 23-5/8 inch. Tool is made from high quality 1045 Steel. Alignment Tool Comes Without Black Oxide Coating.
Alignment Tool will correctly align all OMC Cobra and Mercruiser Outdrives with the exception of the Mercruiser TR and TRS Outdrive Models.
Gimbal Bearing Puller Tool compatible with Mercruisers, OMC and Volvo, Cobra Bell Housings. Works on Mercruiser Alpha, Alpha 1, MR, Bravo, OMC Cobra, and Volvo. This tool allows easy removal of the Gimbal bearing. Gimbal Bearing Puller is easy to use: This blind hole puller locks into the inner race of the bearing. Just turn the end of the tool with a wrench to pull the bearing out. Comes with directions on how to use the tool. Tool is made from high quality 1045 Steel, not a casting.
Gimbal Bearing Installation Tool. This tool compatible with OMC Cobras, Bravos, #1 Drives made from 1966 to Current makes, including the Pre Alpha (R), Alpha 1 “MR” and Generation 2. You will need the Outdrive Coupler Alignment Tool to use this tool. Note: This requires a hole drilled in your alignment tool. We cannot pre-drill these as different manufacturers make the mounts in different places. The tool comes with directions on where to drill the hole in the alignment tool for correct lineup. Tool comes with black oxide finish preventing corrosion to assure many years of service.

Mercuriser alignment tool
So my complaint is the pictures in the add shows a black oxide coated alignment tool but the description says no oxide coated tool. The tool looks good but the $30.00 cheaper looks just as good with more tools included for less $. I'm not fond of descriptions that don't match the text. So I've got the tool and will treat it myself. And they have changed the add. So I did some good. Byers check all descriptions.

Works great
Awesome product. It worked exactly how it's was supposed to. Don't worry if you don't have a drill press. I was able to drill through the alignment bar with a cordless hand drill pretty easily. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs it.

Worth every penny
After renting 2 different slide hammers from a local auto parts store and using 3 different puller attachments, I decided to purchase the MBS brand puller. I spent about 3 hours over the course of a day using the slide hammers with no luck. My arms and hands were sore for the next couple days. When I received this tool, I went straight to the garage, set the depth for the install ring, then used the puller on the bearing. Total time from installing the puller to having the bearing out was less than 2 minutes. Do yourself a favor and buy this tool.

Very Happy
Full disclosure; This was my first time replacing a gimbal bearing, and the only tool i have use for this job. That said, it was amazing! All the YouTube videos did have me worried, but this tool made the job easy. My biggest concern was drilling the hole, and I ended up drilling with a hand drill. No issues, and very happy! I used normal shipping, and received my tool on the 3rd day.

Worked like a charm
I've seen so many video's of people whacking at their bearings with a slide hammer or trying to tip them out. It only took 2 min to remove my bearing with this tool. The 4 stars is because of having to drill a hole in the alignment tool. I had a friend use a bridge port to do mine and it was a pain. Once it was set the tool worked like a charm

Best Tools for Mercruiser Alpha1 Gen.II
Very high quality steel and precise tools, best designed for Mercruiser Alpha1 Gen II. I purchased the E18+-E28+C25. Removing and installing gimball bearing was so easy. The alignment is the must have tool for the engine and the outdrive alignment. I found out that my engine and the outdrive mis-alignment so that worn out the gimbal bearing so quick. This is my 3rd write review, didn't know why the other 2 weren't display. :( SAd
