Mercuiser Alpha1, GenII Gimbal Bearing Remove and alignment tool
I purchased this tool set (E28-E18-C25) for my Mercruiser Alpha1 GenII and very happy with it. It's made with high quality materials and very precise. The instruction print very easy to follow. I remove the old bearing in 5 minutes. On the alignment tool it required to drill a 3/8" hole for the new bearing driver. Setting up on the drill press take some time so I rated this tool set as 4 stars but I purchased this set from MBS manufacturer that cost me $20.00 cheaper than Amazon Prime so 5 * for this tool set. As I watched few videos on Youtube that people showed how to use slide hammer for remove gimbal bearing, some video is Ok, other wasn't so well. Most important thing is the alignment between the outdrive and the engine after new bearing in place. I own this boat 27 years and want to use more years afterward. With this tool set that really helping me do the job right. Thank you for your best USA made product Tim Do

Installer and alignment tool
The tool worked exactly like advertised. The only complaint is like everyone else, a pre-drilled hole or set of holes would be nice. Had to have a friend with a shop drill the hole for me.

Gimbal bearing remover/installer
Tools worked great on my 2005 Volvo Penta DPS. They are high quality and worked as described. I had mine drilled at a local shop. Recommend watching the video of setting it up to service your gimbal bearing. I would definitely buy from MBS again.

Great Tools!
The Gimbal remover is a phenomenal tool. It's one of those well-conceived devices that you can use for the first-time, and it works exactly as advertised. I was giddy at how easily my B3 gimbal bearing came out. I know that the Description states that the installer took requires drilling. But it does not tell you that you need to drill through a 1.5" diameter steel rod. Not many "shade tree mechanics" have that capability. Plan on visiting a machine shop once you make your measurements. To the folks at MBS, why not offer a few pre-drilled options?

Bravo 3 alignment and gimble bearing removal tool
I hate trying to do mechanics because i never have the right tools. Well this is the right tool. Setting up the gimble bearing installer was simple and according to instructions. The gimble puller worked great. I was almost able to pull the gimble without having to use a wrench to rotate the tool. Pulled gimble bearing in approx. 5 min. No yanking your arm off, no cussing, no fussing. Well worth the money.

ALPHA BRAVO GIMBAL BEARING INSTALLER PULLER AND ALIGNMENT TOOLS FOR MERCRUISER
This works great! ....everything you need to remove and install a gimball bearing correctly besides a few hand tools... .the only improvement would be if the alignment shaft could be ordered predrilled to the correct length for the installation collar...
